2009!

As of right now, right this second, only 13 hours, 8 min, and 56 seconds till 2009!!!
YAY! It's super crazy, but awesome at the same time.

So, sorry for not posting in forever. But, the only thing exciting was really Christmas. So I think I'll talk about that.
So a big Christmas present I got was this insanely cool bike. I love it so much, it's so cool. And another big present was that I got to talk to my brother in India. It's so amazing that you can talk to someone who is, like, on the other side of the world. But he's doing good and he loves India. It was funny because he has developed an accent, but it's awesome.

So...ya. Yay!

The only sad thing now is that I have to go back to school.

I Pet a Zebra!!

I went to my cousin, Victoria's, birthday party. And we were riding on one of the horses, Chip. It was really fun because I got to ride all by myself. (But I need to keep practicing because the horse kept stopping and going the opposite way I wanted it to go) But, anyway, someone at the stable bought a zebra and let us see it and stuff. There was a baby zebra there too, and I got to pet it and feed it too! It was so cool! I mean, how many times do you get to pet and feed a baby zebra?!

TWILIGHT!

So on Thursday, my friends and I went to the movie theater at midnight to see Twilight. It was so awesome, but I need to watch it again because the whole time I was cracking jokes. It's an awesome movie and I really really loved it. So I stayed up till like 4:00am and I had to go to school the next day. Thankfully I had taken a nap before the movie, but I was still really tired.

Ah! That movie is so good! My favorite scenes are the apple scene and the Biology scene!!

Jingle Bells, I'm annoyed...

My bus driver decided that she just loves Christmas songs already.
It's the only thing she plays these days.
And after awhile, it gets annoying.

Really
Annoying

I'm so sick of Christmas songs, and it isn't even December...
Ugh, now I feel like Scrooge.

Hate/Love

So I've read some people describing their love/hate's of the day. And I decided that I really liked it, so I'm going to do it now.

HATE:
Geometry proofs. Really stupid things. I think I might even rank them next to mosquitos because they are so freaking annoying!!

LOVE:
Music. Totally love it. And this new band that I've been listening to is pretty cool: Belly of the Whale.
And just music is awesome. I don't know how I would live without it.

It's too early

One word: yawn.

So I've signed up for this synchronized skating team and today was the first practice for the Christmas program. And it was at 7 am. Ugh, and I had to leave at like 6:35. But the ice skating is really fun.

And then I have early morning seminary, where I have to wake up at 5:15.

So if you see me yawning at least 5 times within a minute...you'll know why.

Cookie Calls

So I have this kind of...tradition, I guess you could call it, with my neighbor.
It all started when I really wanted to make cookies but found that I had no eggs. I was about to not make them, but my dad just told me we could ask our neighbor for some. I didn't really want to becuase I didn't think that the relationship between me and him were that close to ask for eggs. (or something like that, I don't know. I was just weird and didn't think I could ask my neighbor for eggs) but I got them and I was really happy, because I really like making cookies.
So, after I made them, I decided that it was common curtesy to share the treat which he had helped to create. So I brought a plate of cookies over and a card with a picture of an egg on it saying thanks and him and his family were all happy.
So, ever since, whenever I make cookies I call him (I like to call it a cookie call hee hee) and bring cookies. It makes me really happy. Because before I didn't exactly know him and his family, and the thought of calling them just made me squirm uncomfortably. But now it's ok, and he even gave me a hug today.
So the moral, or even the point, of this post is: Service makes you feel so much better.
